10 Errors of Catholicism — A Response to Isaiah Saldivar who posted that meme on his Facebook page.

Most of these objections come from misunderstandings of what the Catholic Church actually teaches. Here's a clear response to each, using Scripture and official Catholic sources like the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC).

"Worshipping Mary"

Catholics do not worship Mary. The Church has always distinguished worship (given to God alone) from honor (given to Mary and the saints). CCC 971 says Mary's veneration "differs essentially from the adoration" given to God.

the CEO of Obsidian spent almost 3 hours on camera explaining why your "second brain" doesn't actually work yet.

the core idea: file over app. your notes outlive the app you take them in.

if they don't you don't own them. you're renting them.

Steph Ango is handing you the deed.

My priest preached there. It’s so wild to me that I—as a non-denominational evangelical—would listen to dozens of pastors over my lifetime tell me what the original Greek said, but never wondered what that original Greek-speaking world actually gave us. It’s been there all along. The Septuagint included…

Jeff Bezos asked a room to imagine going back a hundred years.

When almost everyone was a farmer.

And telling those farmers that in 2018 there’d be a job called “massage therapist.”

Bezos: “They would not have believed you.”

Then a friend took it further.

Bezos: “Forget massage therapist, there are dog psychiatrists.”

He looked it up.

Bezos: “Sure enough, you can easily hire a psychiatrist for your dog.”

The room laughed.

The point under the laughter wasn’t funny at all.

Every time a major technology shift hits, we do the exact same thing.

We count the jobs it will destroy.

I Turned Claude Into My Personal CFO (step-by-step guide)

I just turned Claude into my personal CFO, and it's been the best thing I've done for my finances in years.
Claude now optimises my entire portfolio, and it's trained to operate like a McKinsey-level financial analyst, leveraging all my financial context.
I can text it from anywhere, and I'm quite literally treating Claude as my financial advisor now.
I guarantee that you haven't seen another Claude finance workflow like this on your feed - and what I'm about to show you will completely change how you interact with financial markets.
The best part is that at the end of this guide, I've attached all the prompts and the full PDF guide you can inject into Claude to help build your own financial architecture in minutes.
Let's dive right into the step-by-step guide for turning Claude into your personal CFO.

Step One: Investor Profile

If you were to sit down with a financial advisor from Goldman Sachs, the first thing they would do is gather as much context as possible about you to create a hyper-specific investor profile.

I fired my financial advisor and replaced him with Claude.

Call me crazy, but Claude literally does a BETTER job than him (and it's completely free).

My Claude CFO remembers everything, updates itself, and I can text it 24/7.

Autonomy drives behavior. People resist the same conditions when imposed on them, but accept them when they feel it is their choice.

Muscle is not about aesthetics.
It is one of the strongest predictors of how you will age.

After 30, we begin to lose muscle mass naturally.
This process (called sarcopenia) accelerates with age and affects everything: metabolism, insulin sensitivity, bone density, balance, posture, brain health, and even independence.

Weak muscles mean higher risk of falls, fractures, frailty, and loss of autonomy.

Strength training is not optional.
It is preventive medicine.

The goal is not to look younger.
The goal is to stay capable.

Ribeye inflation index has a big print. New price $37.99/lb. 17% inflation annualized from October. 18.5% annualized since last June. 90% cumulative since 2020. 11.0% compounded annually over 6+ years. Same ribeye, same store. High rates? Don't care. Bitcoin is the only way out! https://t.co/Ragd3WKL8F

What if salvation is far more than “going to heaven when you die”?

What if Christianity is actually about becoming by grace what Christ is by nature?

That’s the ancient Christian teaching of theosis… deification. And for many Christians, it’s the missing piece that makes the whole Gospel finally come alive.

Too often, we reduce the Christian life to morality, self-improvement, or avoiding sin. But the Fathers of the Church spoke about something much deeper: union with God. Not becoming gods apart from Him, but being transformed by participation in His divine life.

If you're a retiree trying to figure out your real tax bill for 2026, the bracket table is only part of the story. The OBBBA gave the bottom two federal tax brackets a 4% inflation bump versus 2.3% for the higher brackets, so those lower-rate windows got a little wider. But phase-outs and surtaxes can push the real cost of the next dollar well above what the bracket suggests.

Take IRMAA — that's the income-related Medicare premium surcharge. For a single filer with income just over $109,000, it adds about $1,148 per year in combined Part B and Part D surcharges.

Most people think staying active is enough to protect them as they age.

It isn't.

1 in 5 people who fracture a hip die within 12 months, not from the fall itself, but from the cascade that follows.

Blood clots, pneumonia, muscle loss that the body can't recover from.

The painful part is most of them were active before it happened.

The real problem is silent. Bone loss has no symptoms, no warning, no pain.

By the time a fracture occurs, the window to build meaningful protection has usually been closing for decades.

Breaking 100 has way less to do with hitting amazing shots than people think.

Most golfers chasing it are focused on fixing their swing, buying new clubs, or trying to bomb driver everywhere. In reality, the fastest way to shoot in the 90s is just eliminating the disasters.

That’s it.

You can shoot 99 without making a bunch of pars. Bogeys and doubles are completely fine. What kills rounds are penalty strokes, three-putts, and hero shots that turn one bad swing into three more.

The smartest golfers breaking 100 usually play boring golf.
