Wire World Economic Forum Cybersecurity This gap has been around for a while, but it's good to see it finally getting named.
What the report captures well is that CEOs and CISOs aren't really disagreeing: they're just operating on different floors of the same building. CEOs are scanning the horizon for emerging and financial risks; CISOs are focused on keeping the lights on and the systems running. Both are right. But somewhere between the boardroom and the ops team, the translation breaks down.
The harder question is how you actually close that gap? Curious what's working for others here. Apr 15
