Ian Levinsky

My family's 107 year-old business (aptly named Levinsky's) has had a tremendous impact on my life. Showing up to work at a business with my name on the front of it taught me real fast how to compose myself. Lessons like... treat customers with respect. Listen. How you act at work is how people view you in the community. Empathize. Learn how to ask good questions to make sure you sell something someone really needs and wants.

I had a lot of joy reading Carmen Nobel's vignette on how our family business made an impact on her too.

Go Jumbos! And like Carmen, I also still stink at folding an oxford shirt. Alas.
