Searching Tips:

  • To browse the library catalog, click the search icon, then limit by format, language, date range, subject, etc.
  • For a special collections search, consider using the Advanced Search tool or filtering searches by format or by Yale Library location.
  • Advanced search also allows for limiting by language, format, library, and publication date before searching.
  • Additional search tips are in the Search Help pages (phrase searching, ways to include or exclude terms, and more).
