stew4027@toby_and_chief Oh my gosh, your story about your your parents is pure love. My parents were married for 65 years and i kept telling my Mom he only needs to hear from you to go to our Lord. She waited 2 weeks and all 6 of us kids were saying the Rosary and my mom said “ you can go Home now Jack” and he died that minute holding her hand. It was hard and it was lovely.Jul 15601 likes
fllmisib@toby_and_chief my Mother passed away too on her wedding anniversary 2/14 at 12:57 pm. I asked my aunt at what hour did she get married. She said thw wedding was at at 1 pm. of.ourselves@toby_and_chief I got my mom ready for the funeral after her death. I dressed her, did her makeup, her hair, I painted her nails. I never would have thought that was something Id want to do, but I cherish that couple hours. I looked at her and there was no fear or horror or repulsion - I felt nothing but immense love inside my grief. I looked at her and saw her again through all the different eyes I looked at her with from the previous 30 years. Her curls hanging down when she would buckle me in the back seat when I was small, her freckles that came out in the sun at the beach, her hands she would twirl the phone cord with absentmindedly when I wanted to make a call when I was a preteen. So many memories mapped across her entire body. It's in a different way, but I know exactly what he's speaking of when he says she was beautiful even then, after death.Jul 211 like
