How to build your first Claude Skill in just 5 min:
(even if you've never written a single instruction)
Don't build it from scratch. Open an old Claude Cowork chat where you already explained your task.
Prompt: "Turn this conversation into a Skill." Claude reverse-engineers your own workflow.
Want to build fresh? Prompt: "Use the skill-creator to help me build a Skill." It interviews you.
It generates a SKILL .md file with your /command + your rules.
Before you save, ask Claude to test it. It runs the Skill against your requests so you see it works.
How to install Claude Skills so it fires by itself:
☑ Go to http://how-to-ai.guide.
☑ Subscribe for free. Don't pay anything.
☑ Open the welcome email (don't skip this).
☑ Click the Notion link.
☑ Open the "Claude Skills" folder.
☑ Download all 15+ Claude Skills.
☑ Upload to Claude → Settings → Skills.
☑ Open a new chat & just type your normal request.
You don't invoke the Skill.
Claude reads what you type & activates it on its own
So instead of re-explaining "no bullet points, numbers in USD" every single time, you type /linkedin and it's done.
Your team can use it too.
Skills are one of the many things I test obsessively so you don't have to. I made an entire library of my favourite Claude Skills : http://how-to-ai.guide.
