😎 Embrace the Cluster 😎

Most singers are perfectly happy singing a major chord.

But what about this? 😈

💥 CLUSTER 💥

In this exercise, the choir moves back and forth between:

🎶 A beautiful major chord
🌶️ A dense dissonant cluster

Every time we switch, the singers have to change their note. So that means no major chord and no cluster will be the same.

The challenge is to both tune the major chords and also to stop treating the cluster as a mistake.

🎯 A great exercise for listening, tuning, harmonic awareness, and becoming comfortable with dissonance.
