I remember sitting at my desk as an engineer, thinking I had figured out what success meant. A good career, a respected job, a high salary. That was the definition of success I had learned to chase. And honestly, there is nothing wrong with wanting those things. Financial security and ambition can be beautiful. But at some point, I started questioning if a successful life is only measured by achievements and income. What about having the freedom to spend time with the people you love? What about waking up excited about your work? Traveling without waiting for the “right moment”? Having time for yourself and the people who matter most? Success looks different for everyone. For some, it's building a business. For others, it's having a calm mind, meaningful relationships, and the freedom to live life on their own terms. I don't think success is about doing less or wanting less. I think it's about being honest about what actually matters to you. Because the most impressive life isn't always the one that looks successful from the outside. It's the one that feels successful when you're living it.

solcollectiveretreats I love this, and it’s a mindset I’m still trying to embody after years of trying to climb the corporate. Thanks for the reinforcement of this message 🙏🏽 Jul 16
