Stepping into the Canadian Museum of Architecture Museum of Architecture felt like walking into a space where ideas take shape before your eyes.
Room after room, I explored meticulously crafted scale models, each telling a story not only of form and structure but of the people, places, and cultures that shaped them. With every detailed explanation, the invisible layers of design — from concept to construction — became tangible.
Then came my favorite part: the interactive zone. Surrounded by threads, miniature tools, and the exhibition’s inspiring logo, I found myself sketching and building alongside other visitors. For a moment, we weren’t just spectators — we were part of the creative process.
It was more than a museum visit; it was a reminder of how architecture can spark curiosity, invite participation, and connect us to the spaces we live in.
The best part? You can experience all of this for free until August 24 at the Todmorden Mills Heritage Site.
A heartfelt thank you to Biden Hall Hall for sharing such clear and insightful explanations that enriched the journey.
