😲😲Some places in @travelnevada feel straight-up alien… this spot has hoodoo formations and slot canyons that make you forget you’re still on Earth. Even NASA would want to run research on it . ✅THINGS TO Do 1️⃣ Hike Juniper Draw Loop Trail • Distance: 3.3 miles loop • Difficulty: Easy–moderate • Highlights: Walks through the heart of the gorge, passes clay spires, hoodoos, and side slot canyons 2️⃣Hike Miller Point Trail • Distance: 2 miles round trip • Difficulty: Moderate (some hills & stairs) • Highlights: Ends at an epic lookout point over the entire gorge. 3️⃣The Cathedral Caves / Slot Canyon Area (Not a marked single trail – more like a maze you can wander) • Distance: You choose • Difficulty: Easy/Moderate depending how deep you explore • Highlights: Narrow clay slot canyons you can walk inside — some only shoulder width 4️⃣Moon Caves • Distance: Short walk from parking • Difficulty: Easy • Highlights: Cracked clay walls, cave-like passages, great textures for photos 5️⃣Cathedral Caves Loop • Distance: ~1 mile if you connect the passages • Difficulty: Easy • Highlights: A network of clay hallways and mini slot canyons 📍 Cathedral Gorge State Park 🚗2 hr 30 from Las Vegas 🚗6 hr from Los Angeles, California 👉THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO 🐾This trail has zero shade — if you’re visiting in summer, bring sunscreen, a hat, and LOTS of water. 🚗 Start your hike from Miller Point — the staircase is the perfect entry point. 🐶 Dogs are allowed but must stay leashed.
