## Content
Spilling the tea on my content creation process 👀 As someone who creates A LOT of content (for myself, for On Brand and for our clients at Cultish) and has reached millions and millions of people over the last few years, here's my *hopefully* pretty straightforward process you can steal: 1. Anytime I have an idea, I jot it down. With as much context as possible, so when I’m ready to create, I can remember my initial thoughts. I like using the voice note function for this. Sometimes I go for a walk, braindump for 30-40 minutes, transcribe, and then use it as a structure for a post. 2. When creating content for the week, I shortlist 2-3 of these and add any timely topics. If there is news in the industry or a topic that’s currently on a lot of people’s minds, I act on it as quickly as I can. This is often my best-performing content. 3. Work smarter, not harder is my motto when it comes to content. I usually start with a long-form piece of content, a newsletter in my case, and then break it down into carousels, LinkedIn posts, and sometimes use it as scripts for my videos. 4. Having a repeatable, signature content style is so important to break through on the internet. Not only does it make content creation so much easier and removes any unnecessary decision-making, but repeatable formats also create recognition, which is the first step to creating a strong brand. For example, all of our carousels follow the same format and look almost identical. It was a huge part of our success. Reinventing the wheel every time you post is a sure way to sabotage your results and burn out in the process. 5. Review my insights weekly. If the topic or format resonated, I want to ride that wave and create more of the same. If it didn’t, I would try a different format if I’m set on the topic or let it go, but make a note of it. If you’re just getting started or coming out of a quieter period, please give it enough time. So many people give up just before their big breakthrough. 80% of my results came from probably the top 10% of my content. Break a leg!!!
