Hi everyone, I’m the developer of Social Archiver, and I wanted to share a recent update. Social Archiver now supports importing saved posts from: * Instagram * Reddit * X / Twitter This is handled through the latest Chrome extension updates. X support is included in version `1.3.7`, which is currently under Chrome Web Store review(now live!). # Prerequisites To use this feature, you’ll need: * The Social Archiver [Chrome extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/social-archiver/gifddgdekeffpnadpdcgjaehmlblomaf) * The Social Archiver [Obsidian plugin](https://community.obsidian.md/plugins/social-archiver) * A Social Archiver account # Notes Archiving is intentionally slow. The extension is designed to avoid aggressive scraping and to respect platform limits. You need to be logged in to Instagram, Reddit, or X in your browser, but the extension does not send login credentials or session information to the Social Archiver server. The extension also goes through the Chrome Web Store review process. Social Archiver is now a paid service, and free users have a limited archive quota. However, importing your saved posts currently does not count against that quota. (well, it has changed to take up your quota due to server-side implications) The project is partially open source: the full Obsidian plugin code is available to review.
