After a month of Cowork, you have dozens of files. Obsidian lets you search all of them at once. Here's how to use it. 1. Open Obsidian with your Claude Cowork folder loaded. 2. Press Cmd+Shift+F on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows. The search panel opens on the left sidebar. 3. Type what you're looking for. ✦ A topic: "Q2 newsletter" ✦ A client name: "Acme proposal" ✦ A phrase: "anti-AI writing" ✦ Any word from any file in your folder. Obsidian searches across everything at once. ✦ Your about-me context files. ✦ Your claude-output subfolder. ✦ Your templates and skills files. 1. Click any result. The file opens with proper formatting. You read it like a normal document and edit it if needed. 2. Take what Obsidian found and bring it back to Claude. Open a new Claude session. Paste the file or section you just found and ask: "Here is something you wrote for me previously: [paste content] Based on this: 1. Update it with the following changes: [your edits] 2. Keep the original tone and structure 3. Return only the revised version" ✦ Obsidian finds the file. Claude refines it. ✦ Your edits happen in real time, not from scratch. ✦ You never lose context from past sessions again. Claude can only search within an active session. It can't look across past sessions or past outputs. Every output it created for you last week is invisible to it now. Obsidian can see all of it because it reads the folder directly. ✦ Find the full breakdown here → https://lnkd.in/e47NxW22 ♻️ Repost this so your network doesn't miss this.
