This "connection" is something I personally struggled with until I discovered a world of different techniques and everyday practices that helped me communicate both professionally and in my personal life. As a communication and public speaking coach, I find the same patterns I had in my clients of having a "gap" or dissociation between the thoughts in your head and verbally expressing it.
